A broken piece of glass, thrown to the vast waters of the sea. Shattered and ridged around the edges, left to tumble the tides alone.
As waves crash, riptides pound the fragile glass to the sand, currents pulling it farther from home. Against reefs unknown, to the deepest parts of the ocean, the single piece of glass fights for survival and slowly begins to transform.
Jagged edges begin to soften, colors begin to strengthen with a protective coat and beauty begins to regenerate.
As the storms fade out to sea, and the sun begins to shine, the renewed gem is brought to wash up on the sand to begin a new journey at peace.
What was once abandoned as trash, will now glisten to be discovered treasure
